The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a game-changer for associations and nonprofits. Although it’s an EU regulation, it applies to data processing carried out by any individuals or organizations handling information on clients, consumers, employees or members who are residents of the EU or UK. In fact, additionally all U.S. based organizations must comply with the GDPR if doing any sort of business at all in the UK! That's why the association industry must take notice of the new regulation immediately!

Organizations that are GDPR-compliant by May 25, 2018 will set themselves ahead for the way they handle data, privacy and cybersecurity. Those that aren’t compliant risk $20+ million fines and severe damage to their reputations.

How will you identify the right compliance strategies and technologies? How will you make sure all employees are aware and in compliance? And what risk-mitigation tactics belong in your action plan?

Register now for GDPR – Key Principles, Implications, and the Expected Impact on Tax Exempt Organizations in the U.S.
