The 2018 mid-term election cycle is in full swing.  Millions of dollars have already been raised and spent on the election cycle through fundraisers and donations for PACs, Super PACs, and directly to declared candidates, and the races are just beginning. Political participation in the electoral process through PACs can be a very important aspect of many business and political strategies; however it can also be wrought with issues such as increased competition.

Let an authority on PAC fundraising and compliance show you how to avoid those issues and increase your PAC’s treasure chest!

In this 90-minute webinar, Ronald Jacobs, a Partner in Venable’s Political Law Practice, shows you how to integrate proven fundraising and compliance strategies to keep your PAC funded now and give it a strong head start on the 2018 elections. You will learn how use incentive programs to keep donors motivated while complying with the periodic audits and other responsibilities required during the off year.

Improve donations and prior-approval response rates.  From the “one-third” rule on gifts, to fine-line areas like “tangible benefits,” you will learn what works and how to avoid FEC enforcement action. You will also learn techniques for winning approval from trade association members before soliciting contributions. Plus, you will have the chance to ask your own questions during the Q&A portion of the webinar.

Reserve your space now for guidance on off-year fundraising and compliance, including:

  • Fundraising strategies to increase PAC giving
  • Donor incentives that are FEC-compliant
  • The dos and don’ts for PAC solicitations
  • How to obtain or respond to a prior approval request
  • How to develop a compliance plan.
