Association Executive Awards

For over 40 years, Association TRENDS has named the executives from the association community considered to be at the top of their field with a strong commitment to the community and is pleased to seek nominations again this year.

The Awards

• Association Executive of the Year — awarded to the chief staff executive of a national association or professional society, who has shown exemplary leadership and embodies the very best values of professionalism, creativity and commitment of the association community.
• Vendor of the Year — awarded to vendor or supplier whose majority of their clients and customers are associations. Long-time personal involvement with association community is also vital.
• In the Trenches — awarded to an association staff member who has shown extraordinary member service and is seen as a jack-of-all-trades. This is often a “behind-the-scenes” individual who may not be in the spotlight but has shown continued dedication to the association community.
• TRENDS Young & Aspiring — awarded to association executives, 40 or younger with at least 5 years association experience, who show great promise and commitment to pursuing excellence.

Nominations are accepted year round but all nominations for 2012/2013 honorees must be submitted by Oct. 30, 2012. Nominations may be submitted by colleagues or suppliers.
