Benefits on the chopping block
With their budgets under severe strain, many associations are cutting back on employee benefits. In a mini update to the Association TRENDS Summer 2009 Association Pulse Survey, we asked whether associations had to cut benefits because of increased costs or decreased income (see chart). 42.4% of responding association executives said yes and in varying ways.
