New York-based National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications CEO Nicol Turner-Lee is resigning less than a week after being cleared of alleged financial and operational improprieties while running the organization, MultiChannel News reports. CEO since April 2012, she is leaving to pursue other opportunities, the association said in a statement, according to MultiChannel News. The NAMIC board recently cleared Turner-Lee of allegations of financial mismanagement made anonymously in March by an email sent to cable trade publications and industry organizations (see "News in Brief," 7/11).
