Angerosa Research Foundation, Alexandria VA, is accepting nominations for its 2011 Publishing Trendsetter Award and Rising Star Scholarship programs. These programs honor innovation and support educational development in association publishing and communications field. Deadline is Jan. 14.
The Publishing Trendsetter Award recognizes an association professional who has launched or implemented a trailblazing association publishing or communications idea at his or her organization. The award encourages individual effort and creative talent, and showcases publishing innovation.
The Rising Star Scholarship Program provides professional development tuition assistance to emerging young leaders to attend industry events that expand their knowledge and help support their organizations. This first-of-its-kind scholarship program awards up to three $1,000 educational scholarships annually. Previous years' winners have used the scholarships to attend annual conferences and programs offered by Association Media & Publishing, American Society of Association Executives, FOLIO and others.
