Air Transport Association, Washington, named an executive of a major airline as its new communications VP.
Jean Medina succeeds David Castelveter, who had been ATA's communication VP for five years before leaving to pursue other interests.
Medina has more than 20 years of experience in media relations, crisis management, and financial, customer and employee communications. She had been at United Airlines, where most recently she led external communications and helped guide communications for the United-Continental Airlines merger.
