California Association of Nonprofits, Sacramento, received a $25,000 grant from the California Consumer Protection Foundation. The grant will help the association make use of Web 2.0 and social media to engage nonprofits throughout California in setting future public policy priorities for the association. In 2010, CAN began a search for a new chief executive and expects to have a one in place by April 2011. Details:

Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy Association, Washington, launched a new website for FCHEA's ongoing campaign aimed at Congress to continue funding fuel cell and hydrogen programs. The assocation was formed in 2010 by a merger between the US National Hydrogen Association and the US Fuel Cell Council. Details:
