Association News: 

Alexandra Morehouse is the executive director of the new Center for Accountable Marketing, Sunnyvale CA, which was launched by Direct Marketing Association, New York, and a consortium of marketing firms. She was chief marketing officer for AAA. She has worked for American Express, Charles Schwab & Co., and Ancestry.com. Details: www.the-dma.org.

Several associations and the US Health and Human Services Dept. launched "Million Hearts," a campaign to prevent one million heart attacks and strokes in the US over the next five years. The associations include National Community Pharmacists Association, National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations, Alliance for Patient Medication Safety, American Pharmacists’ Association, America’s Health Insurance Plans and American Heart Association.

Felicia Davis, convention services manager at the Atlantic City (NJ) CVB, was nominated as communications VP for the South Jersey Chapter of the International Special Events Society. Davis has been in the hospitality industry for more than 20 years. Details: www.atlanticcitynj.com.
