Association for Corporate Growth, Chicago, launched a new, digital magazine, Middle Market Growth. MMG monthly goes to approximately 40,000 readers. The MMG suite of e-publications also includes a weekly and a daily.
American Business Media, New York, plans to merge with Software and Information Industry Association, Washington, following a unanimous vote by ABM’s board last week. Clark Pettit, CEO of ABM, said the merger was borne out of a realization that the business to business media market has undergone dramatic changes recently, and that ABM’s model was not “financially sustainable.” The merger will still need to be approved by ABM’s members at their annual meeting later this month.
