American Marketing Association, Chicago, opened an office in Shanghai to serve as headquarters for the AMA China division. AMA will develop a special certification program for marketing professionals in China.
Credit Union National Association, Madison, Wis., has restructured their communications division, reports the Credit Union Times. The changes include eliminating two positions; communications sr. VP Mark Wolff, and website coordinator Jill Stevenson will be departing. CEO Bill Cheney cited CUNA’s “continuing efforts to streamline the organization and improve our service” for the changes.
Brittany English Carter, marketing manager for Columbia Books & Information Services, the parent company of Association TRENDS, was named the 2013 Rising Star Award recipient of the Specialized Information Publishers Association at a gala event last week in Washington.
