Data measurement: The way to know if you are marketing smart

Measurement is boring isn’t it? We all became marketers to think creatively, try cool stuff and bring in lots and lots of orders so why do we need to know about measurement? Smart marketers know that if you do not measure your response rates you will never be able to gauge the success of your efforts and market better and smarter in the future. Measurement is actually the backbone of all membership marketing efforts so it is important that it is done consistently and correctly.

The key to measurement is data collection. To measure accurately, the first thing to do is understand what data you need to collect to measure, and what processes you need to set up to collect the data.
