Past executive of the year is new staff chief for finance organization
Finance & Administration Roundtable finds new management after AMC director retires
Finance & Administration Roundtable hired Collie Gorg Group, Washington, to a multiyear contract for full management of the DC-based organization.
Cris Collie, CAE, is the new executive director. Collie is a past TRENDS Association Executive of the Year (see "Association Executive of the Year - 2006," 12/2/05), and a retired association executive (see "Worldwide ERC gets new CEO," 10/07/08). He is a past Member of the Year of the Professional Convention Management Association, as well as of the former Greater Washington Society of Assn Executives, for which he served as chairman.
JMP Productions previously managed FAR, but the AMC closed in February when Jack Pitzer retired. Pitzer was FAR executive director for 10 years.
