Ronald Von Haden, CIC, is the new CEO of the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents, effective Dec. 10. Von Haden will continue as EVP of PIA of Wisconsin, but from NAPIA’s headquarters office in Alexandria, Va. He joined the PIA of Wisconsin board in 1975 and was elected president in 1979. He then served eight years on PIA National’s board of PIA National as national director from Wisconsin. In 1994, he became PIAW EVP. P. Joanne Ray is now CEO of Urgent Care Association of America, Naperville, Ill. She was executive director of the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Before AACVPR, Ray was a senior consultant with Campbell & Company. In this capacity, she served as interim executive director for the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. She also had senior positions at American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Emergency Nurse's Association and American Veterinary Medical Foundation. Ray graduated from Valparaiso University. At AMR Management Services, Lexington, Ky.: DeLaine Bender, CAE, from deputy director, National Association of State Chief Information Officers, AMR’s largest client, to executive director, National Christmas Tree Association. She is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communications. Also, Lisa Thompson succeeds Bender as NASCIO deputy director. Two new executive positions were created at American Association of Airport Executives, Alexandria, Va.: AAAE Gov president Todd Hauptli, AAAE's top government affairs representative and chief policy strategist; and AAAE Meetings and International president Spencer Dickerson. Scott D. Wiley, CAE, will become CEO of the Ohio Society of CPAs, Columbus, in February following the retirement of J. Clarke Price, CAE, who has led OSCPA for 22 years. Wiley has been executive director of Delta Sigma Phi, an international membership organization with 115,000 members in the U.S. and abroad, for 10 years. He is an ASAE board member and a former president of the Indiana Society of Association Executives. He earned a B.A. in communications from the State University of New York at Oswego.
