South Florida Technology Alliance, Delray Beach, has selected Linda Grove as their new executive director. She previously worked at ICN Telecommunications Division, and also serves as a co-organizer for TEDxDelrayBeach. David L. Evans, former director of the Center for Sustainability at Nobilis, Inc., has been selected as executive director of National Science Teachers Association, Arlington, Va., taking over from interim executive director Gerry Wheeler. Evans also previously served as the Under Secretary for Science at the Smithsonian Institution. He gained his Ph.D in oceanography from the University of Rhode Island, and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania. Details: www.nsta.org.
American Society of Travel Agents, Alexandria, Va., named Zane Kerby their new CEO, effective Feb. 19. He had been sr. VP of events, sponsorships and advertising at Global Business Travel Association. The previous CEO, Tony Gonchar, resigned in July 2012. Erik Younggren, president of National Association of Wheat Growers, Washington, will become acting CEO following the resignation of CEO Dana Peterson. Steve Foster, CEO of Colorado Technology Association, Devner, is stepping down to become COO at the consulting company Global Technology Resources. Foster became the CEO in January 2012. He will remain a member of the Association’s board. Details: www.coloradotechnology.org.
Lydia Middleton is stepping down as CEO of Association of University Programs in Health Administration, Arlington, Va., a role she has held since 2004. Previously she had been COO at the organization. Middleton will stay in the position until a replacement can be found. Details: www.aupha.org.
