Bernard J. Sadusky, PhD, will become executive director of the Maryland Association of Community Colleges, Annapolis, effective July 1. He succeeds H. Clay Whitlow, who had served MACC since 2006. Sadusky is interim state superintendent of schools for the Maryland Education Department. He served as an administrator and teacher for 30 years in Queen Anne's County Md. Following his retirement, he joined the Maryland education department before being appointed interim state superintendent in 2011. Sadusky earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from King’s College, a master’s degree in psychology from Washington College, and a doctorate in educational administration from Nova-Southeastern University.
