Thomas J. Kallstrom, MBA, RRT, FAARC, will be the new CEO of American Association for Respiratory Care. He will succeed the retiring Sam Giordano, MBA, RRT, FAARC, who has been CEO for more than 30 years. He will retire June 1. Kallstrom has been AARC COO for the past six years. He has been a respiratory therapist for more than 30 years.
Jason Oxman, CAE, was named CEO of the Electronic Transactions Association, Washington, succeeding Carla Balakgie who left last October to become CEO of National Automatic Merchandising Association. Oxman had been industry affairs sr. VP at Consumer Electronics Association. The search was conducted by Russell Reynolds Associates.
