American Hotel & Lodging Association, Washington, will form a search committee to find a successor for CEO Joe McInerney, whose contract expires next year. The new CEO will help formulate the associations strategic and business plans under a new organization model being developed by the AH&LA strategic planning committee. Casey Sclar, PhD, is now executive director of American Public Gardens Association, Kennett Square, Pa. Sclar has been interim executive director since September. Before APGA, Sclar was the Plant Health Care Division leader at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square for 15 years. He earned a B.S. in horticulture from California Polytechnic State University, and an M.S. and PhD in entomology from Colorado State University. Details: www.publicgardens.org.

Kevin H. Brown, Esq., CAE, is now executive director of the CPCU Society, Malvern, Pa. He was COO of the National Apartment Association, and also worked for 19 years at CIGNA, including as senior director of legal and public affairs. He earned a law degree at Quinnipiac University.
