New executive director for Society for Vascular Ultrasound
Thomas L. Stefaniak, MBA CAE, is the new executive director of the Society for Vascular Ultrasound, Lanham, Md.
He succeeds Steve Haracznak, CAE, who retired. Interim director was Douglas M. Kleine, CAE, president, Professional Association Services, Alexandria, Va.
Stefaniak was western regional director at American Academy of Physician Assistants. Previously he was AAPA specialty organizations, federal chapters and program development director, knowledge network director at ICMA, and executive director at Unclaimed Property Professionals Organization.
He earned an MBA at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a BBA at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
