Board candidates announced for Association Media & Publishing

But nominations still can be made before AM&P annual meeting

Association Media & Publishing released the slate of candidates nominated to its 2014-15 board. Four seats, each with a two-year term, are set to expire May.

Those who are nominated include:
• Christina Folz, editor, HR Magazine, Society for Human Resource Management
• Robert Freedman, multimedia communications manager, National Association of REALTORS
• Wendy Mann, CAE, SVP, NAIOP
• James G. Elliott, president, James G. Elliott Co.

Three seats being vacated represent regular members and one seat for an industry service partner member. Regular members include media, marketing, and/or communication professionals of trade, professional, philanthropic  and other nonprofit organizations. Industry service partner include representatives of member companies that offer products and services related to association publications and media.

Those who are completing terms in May are:
• Marc Ingram, advertising and exhibit sales director, Community Associations Institute
• Kim Kett, national accounts VP, GTxcel
• Wendy Mann, CAE, SVP, NAIOP
• Gary Rubin, chief publishing and e-media officer, HR Magazine, SHRM.

If there are no additional nominations, this slate will be elected by the AM&P board and take office during the association's 2014 annual meeting.

AM&P voting members have 15 days to submit additional nominations to the treasurer/secretary by 5 p.m. ET April 18. Nominations by ballot also can be made 30 days before the organization's annual meeting. Details: www.associationmediaandpublishing.org.
