Robert Lederer Jr. is the first executive director of the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition, Washington.
EICC has grown more than 50 percent since 2007, prompting the organization to hire a full-time chief executive. Also, the organization’s expanded activities in human rights and environmental concerns required an executive director, the organization reported.
He was mayor of Fairfax, Va., for 10 years. On Dec. 22 he announced that he would not seek re-election to a sixth term. During his tenure, Fairfax achieved the honor of “Third Most Livable City in the United States” by Forbes.
