New executive at Public Risk Management Association
Mark G. Doherty, CAE, is the new executive director of Public Risk Management Association, Alexandria VA.
He succeeds Lisa Lopinsky, CAE, who had been chief staff executive since 2006.
Doherty has more than 25 years of association management experience. He was executive director of the Institute of Operations Research & the Management Sciences, Hanover MD. Before that he was COO at Cardiology Research Foundation, Washington, and was EVP of American Society of Pension Actuaries, Arlington VA.
He earned an MBA at Virginia Tech, and another master’s at Xavier U.
