New president for American Association of Insurance Services
Edmund J. Kelly, CPA, is the new president of the American Association of Insurance Services, Wheaton, Ill.
AAIS longtime president Paul Baiocchi will continue as CEO through a period of transition. Baiocchi has been with AAIS for 36 years, 25 of them as president and CEO. He made the announcement of Kelly’s appointment at the recent 2012 AAIS executive conference in La Jolla, Calif.
Kelly was CEO of Paris Re America Insurance Co. for two years, and for seven years was COO of ICAT Holdings LLC. Previously he was CFO for a specialty division of Royal Sun Alliance, and finance and operations VP for a workers’ compensation company.
Earlier he worked for 11 years as a senior manager at Ernst & Young.
