Notable association executive Fine to lead Turnaround Management Association

Gregory J. Fine, CAE, will be the new executive director of Turnaround Management Association, Chicago, effective Dec. 5. He will succeed Linda Delgadillo, CAE, who will retire after 11 years at the helm.

Fine is VP of marketing and communications, a department he created at the Association for Corporate Growth, Chicago. He also directed the launch of ACG’s public policy effort. Before ACG, Fine was with Association Forum of Chicagoland, where he was communications and marketing director, and executive editor of FORUM magazine.

He currently is the elected president of Association Media and Publishing, and is an active member of the Association Forum of Chicagoland and ASAE, where he is past chairman of the Membership Section Council and a member of its research committee.

He was named the Angerosa Research Foundation’s 2008 Publishing Trendsetter and a TRENDS 2009 Young and Aspiring Association Professional.

Fine is a contributing author to Membership Essentials, and has written for FORUM, Associations Now and Association TRENDS. He is a public speaker on strategy, management development, digital publishing, generational marketing, public policy/advocacy, trends in associations, social media, word of mouth marketing, membership, marketing and volunteerism.
