Which CVBs gained DMAP status?

Twenty-five destination marketing organizations recently achieved or renewed their accreditation through the Destination Marketing Accreditation Program, administered by the Destination Marketing Association International, Washington.

The accreditation program is designed to recognize DMOs - or CVBs - that meet or exceed outlined industry standards. The following DMOs achieved DMAP accreditation status for 2012-16:

• Austin (Texas) CVB
• Branson/Lakes Area (Mo.) CVB
• Cabarrus County CVB (Concord, N.C.)
• Chicago Southland CVB (Lansing, Ill.)
• Discover Kalamazoo (Mich.)
• Fresno/Clovis (Calif.) CVB
• Galveston Island (Texas) CVB
• Greater Lansing (Mich.) CVB
• Greater Madison (Wisc.) CVB
• Greater Palm Springs CVB (Rancho Mirage, Calif.)
• Macon-Bibb County (Ga.) CVB
• Meadowlands Liberty CVB (Rutherford, N.J.)
• Pocono Mountains VB (Stroudsburg, Pa.)
• Providence Warwick (R.I.) CVB
• Quad Cities CVB (Moline, Ill.)
• Rock Hill/York County (S.C.) CVB
• St. Augustine (Fla.) Ponte Vedra & The Beaches VCB
• Tourism Richmond (British Columbia, Canada)
• Tourism Victoria (British Columbia, Canada)
• VISIT Denver
