Association TRENDS

For association executives, confidence in their members' professions has stayed about the same from the spring to the fall of this year, but has faltered on the U.S. economy, according to the TRENDS Fall 2012 Association PULSE Report. In spring 2012, association executives scored their confidence in members' profession at 65.7, while in fall 2012 it is 65.6. On the U.S. economy, the score started out the year at 60.9, but fell to 53.5 in the fall. This is still resoundingly better than in fall 2011, when executives' confidence in the economy was 29.6 and 48.2 in their members' professions. A score of 50 or higher shows optimism.
