Martineau-Cornish Award
Joel Poznansky, Publisher of TRENDS, started the 33rd Salute by welcoming the almost 500 guests and recognizing a few changes- particularly the fact that Jill Cornish, long time host of the event was this year for the first time, enjoying the event as an honored guest- and promising a few surprises. Even as TRENDS continues its tradition of delivering seriously useful news and information for association leaders.
Steve Anderson, IOM, CAE, President and CEO of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores, and himself a former Association Executive of the Year, took the podium to pay tribute to those traditions and announce the creation of a new award.
