Arlis Whalum, CPA, is the new CFO of the Professional Convention Management Association. Whalum has 17 years of progressively growing financial and operational experience with an $18 million non-profit association, as well as Big 4 CPA and Fortune 500 experience. She was most recently finance director at the American Planning Association. Earlier posts include senior audit manager, Odell Hicks & Company; operations director, New Faith Baptist Church; controller, Travelers Relocation Company; senior financial analyst, American Hospital Supply Corp.; and auditor, Ernst & Young. She earned an MBA with a concentration on not-for-profit management.
