Technology Executive Moves


Matthew S. Loeb, CAE, is the new CEO of ISACA, a global association of information systems assurance, security, governance and risk professionals, effective Sept. 1. He was on staff for 20 years at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and was the executive director of the IEEE Foundation. He succeeds Susan M. Caldwell, who retired in September after 21 years as CEO. Ron Hale, PhD, CISM, was acting CEO.

James Selka is the new CEO at Manufacturing Technologies Association, succeeding Graham Dewhurst who is retiring after seven years. Selka was production and HR director at AESSEAL, a mechanical seals manufacturer. Earlier he was managing director of Reliance Precision for 13 years. During Dewhurst’s term as CEO, the MTA’s membership grew by more than 30 percent.

Noah Theran to communications director, The Internet Association. Theran previously held the same position at the Private Equity Growth Capital Council.
