The ACA’s Impact on Nonprofits:
Preparing Your Group Health Plan
Recorded November 13, 2014

eLearn

For nonprofits that sponsor an employee healthcare plan, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) isn’t just about compliance. It’s also about leadership and responsibility.

Your association’s good reputation is invaluable. That’s why it’s critical to avoid damaging mistakes with the mandate’s “play-or-pay” rules.

Here’s how to cut through the confusion and make the right changes to ensure your group healthcare plan is compliant before enforcement starts in January, 2015.

Register now for The ACA’s Impact on Nonprofits: Preparing Your Group Health Plan. This 90 minute webinar gives you a direct line to the expertise of two association executives who reveal how the nuances of ACA apply specifically to organizations like yours. They’ll bring you up-to-date on where the “play-or-pay” rules stand today—and arm you with best practices for navigating the new healthcare environment and determining if your plan is compliant.

Avoid costly mistakes. This webinar eliminates the guesswork in making sure you’ve created the best group health plan for your employees. It also helps you understand the new changes to healthcare policy and what you can—and should—do about them now. Plus, you’ll have the chance to ask your own questions during the Q&A portion of the webinar.

Reserve your space now to prepare for the ACA’s impact on associations, including:

  • What the “play-or-pay” rules say, and how they affect the health plans you sponsor
  • How to identify your nonprofit organization’s full-time employees
  • When to use the “look-back” measurement method vs. the monthly measurement method
  • How to determine whether your employer-offered coverage is “affordable” and sufficient
  • What reporting obligations apply, and how best to report offers of coverage and employee enrollment to the federal government and your employees
  • How to interact with the exchanges and handle open and special enrollment periods

Register now for The ACA’s Impact on Nonprofits: Preparing Your Group Health Plan. Remember, even though final rules on the employer mandate were released last spring, there is still plenty of confusion and ways to make costly mistakes. Why risk that?
