When it comes time to plan your organization’s investment policies and gauge their performance against others in the nonprofit world, you may find you are operating in the dark. Nonprofits rarely have access to information about how their peers - other nonprofit finance executives - manage their reserves and perform on their investments. Without this access you are missing out on information that could drastically enhance your financial administration. The Study on Nonprofit Investing (SONI) was developed to amend this problem, and to bridge the gap between nonprofit financial executives and the information they need to get the most from their investments.
Register now and join fellow nonprofit CFOs and CEOs as leading experts discuss findings from the SONI study. Over 150+ association leaders weighed in. Find out how the results can help you make solid investing decisions at your organization.
This interactive session, open only to senior association and nonprofit professionals, is the ideal setting to openly discuss finance and investment issues and concerns facing the association and nonprofit community. You’ll hear from a panel of association leaders lead by study creator, Dennis Gogarty, and have ample opportunity to pose your own questions.
The expert panel will offer insight on the report’s findings from association executives including responses to the following questions:
- What areas do you have major new initiatives planned for 2014?
- How are your cash reserves segmented?
- How are your long-term investments allocated?
- How do you respond to temporary short falls in revenue?
- How do you best manage earnings on long-term investments?
- Who has investment decision-making authority at your organization?
