Working with volunteer subject matter experts (SMEs) isn’t always easy. At times, it can even be a negative experience. SMEs may feel that their time wasn't respected and that they were taken advantage of, while your team might feel that the SME wasn't particularly responsive.

The way you select, manage and motivate your SMEs can change all that.

Now, a new webinar shows you a practical model for keeping projects moving smoothly toward learning experiences that reward your learners with full value of your experts’ knowledge.

Register now for The Ins and Outs of Working with Volunteer SMEs.

A leading consultant on learning technologies and eLearning, Dr. Jon Aleckson created the MindMeld micro-collaboration model for helping associations and nonprofits derive maximum value from subject matter experts. In this 90-minute webinar, learn to turn this same model into a high-value experience for your team—and your SMEs.

Respect, empower and reward your SMEs.  You’ll explore how to use documented SME protocols and “shared language” to create project momentum. You’ll discover how to raise the learning value by tapping experts’ specific and tactical knowledge. Plus, you’ll have the chance to ask your own questions during the Q&A portion of the webinar.

Reserve your space now for expert guidance on collaborating with SMEs to create the best learning content, including how to:

  • Develop formal SME protocols that create project momentum and help ensure professional project management and results
  • Use today’s best practices for working with SMEs
  • Apply the MindMeld model to get more from SMEs—while respecting their time
  • Create guidelines for picking SMEs with the greatest value to your project

Bottom line: No more “herding cats.” Using the best practices and MindMeld model you’ll learn in this webinar you can create a more professional—and rewarding—experience for everyone.
