Many social media plans will include one or two social networking sites, but the AICPA has embraced more than just Facebook and Twitter, they have utilized LinkedIn, YouTube and maintain an active blog. The use of LinkedIn is particularly impressive. LinkedIn can be a powerful tool for professional associations, and AICPA has leveraged it well. They maintain two groups, one closed for members only information and the other open to all people will an interest in the field. The careful attention they\u2019ve paid to all of their social networks has paid off with impressive growth in their ability to connect, communicate and educate their members.
