    Indiana Society of Association Executives, Indianapolis, gave their Innovative Marketing Campaign award to Digital Pathology Association, Indianapolis, and their partners the Ward Management Group. The award was in recognition of the Association’s campaign for their annual conference, which included print, online and mobile media. The award was handed out at the 11th Annual STAR Awards, Dec. 6 at the Dallara IndyCar Factory, Indianapolis.

    A survey presented at Direct Marketing Association’s, New York, 2012 Conference & Exhibition shows that marketers are by and large mixing their personal and professional lives. 69% of those surveyed slept with their cell phones on and within reach, and 77% used the same phone for personal and work purposes. In addition to shining light on marketing professionals, noted survey presenters Pitney Bowes Inc., marketing and communications professionals should take into account these developments when sending out your organization’s message.
    PRSA, New York, is hosting a webinar, Jan. 17, on how to increase the chances that your organizations’ press releases will be picked up by media organizations. Included are the results of a survey of over 200 journalists. Registration is free for members.
