    American Bankers Association fills new community engagement position

    Corey Carlisle is the new bank community engagement SVP for the American Bankers Association, Washington.

    Carlisle will manage the association’s newly created Banker Community Engagement Council, which will focus on ensuring that ABA members’ best practices in financial education, affordable housing, and other community development and philanthropic activities are better known both within and outside the industry.

    He was federal policy and government affairs director at the Low Income Investment Fund. Previously he was government affairs assistant VP for the Mortgage Bankers Association.

    Carlisle earned a master’s degree at the London School of Economics & Political Science and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota. Details:
