Remembering our dear friend, Ed Dalere
Association TRENDS and our entire Columbia Books family is heartbroken to hear about the passing of our wonderful friend and colleague, Ed Dalere. His big personality, infectious laugh, love for seersucker and passion for the association community were known far and wide. Ed was always game for anything whether it was taking a 10 hour, last-minute road trip to ASAE Annual in Toronto when our flights were canceled, to playing lip-sync battle in the office and helping wrangle the craziness that is the Salute. I don’t think any of us will ever be able to drink an appletini again without laughing and thinking of Ed.
On more occasions than I can count he committed acts of kindness to those around him. Seeing the outpouring of kind words at the news of his passing is a reminder of how many friends he had in this industry. He will be deeply missed by so many of us. Thank you, Ed, for all that you’ve done, for your amazing years of service, for sharing your passion with us and making us laugh.
